Arnott’s team finishes sixth in Richmond

Medicine Hat News They went all the way to British Columbia for a national tournament, but Volleyball Alberta’s two 16-and-under teams wound up facing each other in their last game. Alberta Blue, which included Seven Persons’ LeeAnne Arnott, fell 3-0 in Sunday’s fifth-place game at the National Team Challenge Cup in Richmond. Following a couple days’ worth of seeding rounds, Blue made it to the eight-team championship bracket only to lose a narrow 3-2 quarter-final to the eventual silver medalist B.C. Blue team. They then swept Manitoba Gold 3-0. 5-4
