Quick times were put down Saturday at the Medicine Hat Speedway, but there could only be one winner in each division of racing.

Wayne Seaward’s No. 8 won the renegade trucks main event, ahead of Curtis Bigelow and Glen Young.

Ross Statham drove the No. 14 car to an elite street stock win, with Will Voth’s 77 and Alf Hieb’s 7 rounding out the podium.

In hobby stock it was Jason Koska edging Jareme Koska.

As a bonus, both powder puff and pit person races were also held. Jess Seaward won the powder puff ahead of Sheryl Bigelow, a repeat of how the renegade trucks race went, while Jeff Reimer was the pit person race winner ahead of Charmaine Reimer and Brittany Young.

Next up is fan appreciation days this weekend, with racing on both Saturday and Sunday. Baby grands, IMCA modifieds and mini cup wll be on the slate.
