A hearing assessment

You will sit in a noise-controlled environment wearing headphones and be asked to press a button in response to a series of tones. The assessment will help HearingLife to understand the state of your hearing health and should take roughly half an hour.

An examination

Before your hearing assessment, a hearing care professional will examine your ears. It will be painless but help to determine a possible cause of hearing loss, such as infection or ear wax build up.

An interview

This important step in the process helps your hearing professional determine how your hearing health has affected you. This is the initial piece in creating a personalized recommendation for hearing care.

“Each person goes through unique hearing loss and unique circumstances,” Price says.

“We make sure to treat you as an individual. There is no cookie-cutter approach.”
