AMBERLY ROSE (HALL) SCHMILFENIG

AMBERLY ROSE (HALL) SCHMILFENIG Amberly Rose (Hall) Schmilfenig, born on Nov. 25, 1977 (46) left us unexpectedly and suddenly at University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, AB, from a brain aneurysm.
She married the love of her life, Corey Allan Schimelefenig, on May 18, 2014, and together with their children, Sierra, Jackson, Abigail, Jewel, Austin, Hayley and her fur babies created a mountain of memories as the children were the biggest love of her life with Corey.
Amberly and Corey became grandparents, she loved the title “grandma” to their grandsons, Darien and Daniel.
She is survived by her parents Gordon Hall, Susan Pope (Lawrence Heck), her brother Rick (Pamela) Hall, and sister Jennifer (Wally) Weir, her stepsiblings, Carrielynn and Curtis Heck, her aunts, uncles and as well as her parents in law; Bob (Trudy) Schimelfenig, and their families. Amberly is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins. And finally, however not least all, her friends near and far.
A service to Celebrate Amberly’s life will be held on Saturday, August 10 th at 2pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 7 Saamis Rotary Way SW, Medicine Hat. RAYMOND DOUGLAS STAFFORD 1946 – 2024
Raymond Stafford passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2024, at the age of 78 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Bev Stafford; children, Brent (Betty) Stafford, Dawn Stafford and Amy Stafford; grandchildren, Natasha Stafford (Marc Meilleur), Nicole (Gery) Balaski, Jonathon (Johanevie) Stafford, Ashlynn Oliver and Gavin Oliver; great grandchildren, Adelle Stafford and Bruin Balaski; siblings, Ida Stewart, Edna (Leo) Brietzke and Archie Stafford; extended family, Elizabeth Windrim, David (Judy) Windrim and Richard (Carol) Windrim; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Adrian (Debbie) McNeil, Clinton (aka squint) Anderson, John (Bonnie) Lasante, Cal (Carol) Spencer and many others.

Ray was always full of wit and jokes. His passion was making people laugh. He loved racing cars and woodworking. Ray worked as a heavy duty mechanic and many, many years in oil and gas.

WOODRUFF

WOODRUFF We celebrate the passing of Della Marie Woodruff from the many challenges of her mortal state to a far better life beyond the veil. This took place on August 2, 2024 at the age of 77 years.
She will be joined in due course by her eternal companion, Jerry Woodruff.
She will be deeply missed for the present by seven children: Jaremie (Annette) Woodruff, Spencer Woodruff, Teauru Avila, Luke Woodruff, Neal Woodruff, Joel (Chelsey) Woodruff, and Daniel (Aubrey) Woodruff, and by her grandchildren: Kate, Jared, Ella, Kenek, Jacob, Oriana, Gianluka, Jackson, Alexis, Pyrra, Odin and Lars, and by her sister Jeannie Clark.
She is now reunited with her parents, Ed and Dorothy, and with her brothers Jim (Cindy) and Garth (Becky) and with countless family and friends and with her Savior Jesus Christ.
She has fought a good fight, she has finished her course, she has kept the faith.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BOW ISLAND CHAPEL, 309 Westview Cres, Bow Island, AB.
Friends are welcome to meet with the family from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Friday August 9, 2024 at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 433 Stubb Ross Road S, Lethbridge AB, or prior to the Service on Saturday from 10:00 – 10:45am at the Church.

ELSIE KUNTZ

ELSIE KUNTZ 1935 ~ 2024 On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Elsie Cecile Kuntz passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Brenda Martinson and Sherry Morrison; grandchildren Jessica Martinson (Kirby Tindall) and Graydon (Kristina) Martinson; great-grandchildren Gage and Jett; and many close friends. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Emil Kuntz in 2014. Elsie was a witty and charming host who enjoyed entertaining and telling jokes. In 1969 she became one of the first lady barbers of Alberta, she also loved music and dancing and continued to golf until the age of 87. Thank you Dr. Cameron and the medical staff for your wonderful care of our mom. Elsie’s life will be honoured and her memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral. VIRGINIA SCHNEIDER

VIRGINIA SCHNEIDER June 21st, 1939 August 3rd, 2024 Virginia Schneider passed away peacefully on August 3rd, 2024, at the age of 85 years.
Virginia was born on June 21st, 1939, in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She was known for being a hard-working woman that no one could keep up with. Virginia was able to do anything she set her mind to, from leatherwork and sewing to baking and gardening, she was a master of many talents, all while raising five children.
She was predeceased by her husband, Moe Schneider; parents, Stella and Gordon Page; sons, Donny and Todd Schneider; and grandsons, Jayden Schneider and Colt Parker. Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dean (Wendy) Schneider, Cody (Rhonda) Snyder, Toby (Shane) Parker, and Blain (Patty) Schneider; as well as her nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Louise Page and Pat (Dale) Page.
A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, August 9th, 2024, at the Redcliff Cemetery. All are welcome to join family and friends after the graveside at the Redcliff Legion, 302 Broadway Ave E, Redcliff, AB, for Virginia’s Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm.

PETER HALKO 1942 – 2024
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Peter Halko on August 2, 2024, in his home with family at his side, just five days short of his 82nd birthday. He will be missed by his loving wife Merle, daughter Debbie and her husband Glenn Pottle; his son Ward Halko. Peter enjoyed time with his granddaughter Jessica, her husband Ray-Al Hochman, grandson Jordan Hood and his wife Carlyn and great grandchildren, Arrow Hochman, Decker, Cabella, and Titan Hood.
