Later she took night courses for book work to help lens company, she also did the interior design and the painting of all the houses he built. Later she opened her own business as Lens Floral and Sporting goods and also did photography. Next was Cypress Custom Drapery and Knitting, while at the same time spending time with her grandchildren, who meant the world to them, and still had time for baking and her main love, her gorgeous flowered yard. In 1992 she retired and went and watched dad fish in Ferguson Bay.
