JEAN SINCLAIR

JEAN SINCLAIR 1948 ~ 2023
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we- the family of Jean Sinclair, beloved wife of Chas Sinclair, announce that she has passed away. Jean died on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Riverview Care Facility in Medicine Hat, Alberta, at the age of 75 years. Jean had a great number of people in her life who loved her dearly. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. Jean worked as a legal secretary before retiring in 2013, where she enjoyed many hobbies such as baking, knitting, sewing, and travelling. However, it was spending time with her family and her grandchildren that gave her the happiest moments in her life.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Lyn (Pat) Weisgerber, Scott (Joy) Sinclair, and Adam (Carmi) Sinclair; seven grandchildren, Jordan (Kade) Kopec, Amie, Stacia, Bret, Morgan, Derek, and Colin; three brothers, Ian Semple, Kenneth (Amanda) Semple, and David (Diane) Semple; two sisters, Margaret Semple and Blanche Semple, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Edith (Selkirk) Semple and her infant daughter Gloria Sinclair.

A celebration of life will take place for Jean later this fall. We will miss Jean dearly as she will always hold a special place in our hearts. A special thanks goes to the staff of Riverview for welcoming and caring for Jean during her very short time there, and in particular, comforting her and the family during her last days. Those who wish to remember Jean with a donation, may do so to the Alzheimer Society Alberta and Northwest Territories (#101, 1201 Kingsway Ave SE, Medicine Hat, ABT1A).
