Marian loved being a homemaker and soon was an accomplished cook and baker as well as a gracious hostess. Fresh baked cookies were an after school must for her kids and many of their neighbourhood friends. Marian was involved in various Hillcrest Church activities over the many years. She had a strong Christian faith and prayed daily for her family. She enjoyed bowling, silk flower arranging and tending to her flower beds. Her two grandchildren were an absolute joy to her and she would go to great lengths to entertain them and make all their favourite treats each time they visited. In time, she was also blessed with four great-grandchildren to love. In later years she became a caregiver to Del, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease which eventually necessitated a move to Masterpiece Southland Meadows in 2021. The family would like to thank the staff at Masterpiece for the kindness and care Marian has received over the past year while in Supportive Living.
