PHYLLIS GEHRING

PHYLLIS GEHRING 1938 ~ 2023 It is with a broken heart that Vern announces the passing of his beloved wife of 65 years, Phyllis Iona Gehring. She passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of 84 years. Along with Vern, left to remember Phyllis is her daughter, Brenda (Brad) and her children, Yulis, Tamara and Michelle and their families; son, Dale and his children, Brittney and Dalton; Brian’s children, Erika, Blair and Cole as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre- deceased by her son, Brian and grandson, Chase. Phyllis was born on December 6, 1938, to Gothelf and Lydia Stelter. She had a passion for baking, cooking and canning. Phyllis and Vern spent much time together tending to their flowers and garden. Her love of animals always had a special place in her heart. Her devotion to her family and caring personality will be missed, especially by her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating. CHASE PETERS-GEHRING 1991 ~ 2023 Chase Matthew Herbert Peters-Gehring passed away in Medicine Hat on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the age of 31 years. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Brenda (Brad); father, Grant; daughter, Julia; sisters, Yulis, Tamara and Michelle; grandma, Ida; grandpa, Vern and grandma, Phyllis (who passed away two days after Chase) as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. ADAM GARTRY


ADAM GARTRY 1989 – 2023 Joshua “Adam” Gartry passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the age of 33 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Camille Larson whom he cherished with all his heart; their two children Beau and Emma, his parents Susan and Marty Gartry.
