ROBERT NOBLE

ROBERT NOBLE July 19, 1933 ~ February 19, 2023 Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ James Noble, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Noble, passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the age of 89 years. Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family: three sons, Randy (Sandy) and their three children, Kayla, Jared (Mikayla) and Randall (Kayla); Durwin (Teresa); Brent (Cheryl) and their three children, Ashley (Dan), Dillion and Emilia (Shelby); two daughters, Penny (Warren) Hepfner; Diana (Richard) Bergen and their son, Trey. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Jans; sister-in-law, Dorothy ‘Dot’ Simon as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Along with his loving wife Liz, Bob was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Wilma Noble; one sister, Doreen Noble; Liz’s parents, Louis and Emilia Simon; brother-in-law, Louis Simon; sister-in-law, Joan Mezie and brother-in-law, John Mezei. Bob enjoyed his job as a salesman working for Paulin’s which later evolved into Interbake Foods. His Jolly laugh let everyone know when he was in the room… it was infectious. Bob’s memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. GARY W. SLETVOLD

GARY W. SLETVOLD September 10th, 1949 – February 18th, 2023 Gary was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and later moved to Patricia, Alberta. He was retired from CFB Suffield where he put in over 25 years of service as a civil engineer and yard foreman.
Prior to being employed at the base, he owned and operated H&G Stucco with his father which then became Sletvold Stucco for several years. Gary was an avid volunteer in many organizations including Scouts Canada, Crescent Heights Lion’s Club, and sandbagging in the flood of ’95. He also enjoyed volunteering his time and material for stuccoing and repairing monuments at Hillside Cemetery and onsite at Camp McCoy. Gary was always willing to donate his time and energy to make life better for children in and around Southern Alberta.
Gary is survived by his wife Grace Sletvold and children Gary (Janet) Sletvold and family, Rachel (Stan) Devoe and family, Nick (Marie) Sletvold, Mary-Ann Sletvold, and Vincent (Genelyn) Sletvold and family; step-children Betty (Victor) Ceron and family, Elaine (Paul) Cummins, and Jon (Shelly) Goebel and family. And many grandchildren. Siblings twin sister Gloria (Gerard) Liboiron and family and brother Glen (Eileen) Sletvold. And first wife Martina Sletvold (mother of Gary’s children).
Gary is predeceased by his Mom, Grace and Dad, Helmer; Sister Marge Wist and Brother Dale Sletvold.

1926 ~ ISABEL LISKE ~ 2023
Isabel Liske of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Victor Liske, passed away on Sunday, February 19th, 2023 at the age of 96 years. Isabel leaves to cherish her memory her children, Vic (Sandy) Liske and Doris (Robert) Volk; grandchildren, Scott (Jessica) Liske, Jennifer Bilodeau, Amy (Scott) Makepeace, Terry Volk, and Cody Liske; great-grandchildren, Cooper Grisak, Kelsey Lafont, Emily Volk, Alyssa Makepeace, Jordan Volk, Sophia Makepeace, Brooklyn and Bowen Bilodeau and Devyn, Lauryn, Kaylee, and Maya Liske; great-great grandchildren, Maddox Volk and Sofiya Lafont; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Isabel was predeceased by her husband, Victor; parents, Joseph and Sofiah Cacko; brothers, José, Henrique, Bruno and Emilio; and sisters, Emilia, Appolonia, and Eugenia. Isabel lived a long, full life and was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. She cared very deeply for her family and doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She kept her family in Brazil in her thoughts and made sure to reach out to them and kept close relationships with them all, holding them close in heart. Everything Isabel did, she did with love and as such she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed for her “green thumb” and love of gardening; her love of nature, in particular, animals, sunrises and sunsets; her amazing ardour for cooking delicious meals and desserts that she served everyone with love; her enthusiastic dancing; as well as her contagious laughter. Isabel faithfully believed in Angels and found comfort in knowing that they were watching over her and her loved ones. The family are forever grateful to the nurses and support staff at Meadowlands and St. Joseph’s Home for the care and support provided to Isabel in her last years. For those wishing to honour Isabel’s life and family, the Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5, on Monday, February 27th, 2023 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Shane Hein officiating. ANN RODERMOND 1941 ~ 2023
Ann (Antje) Rodermond passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, surrounded by the love and presence of her beloved husband, Mark and many of her children. Left to cherish Ann’s memory are her children, Shirley (Micheal) den Ouden, Irene (Michael) Dykstra, Roger (Janice) Rodermond, Evelyn (Yvon) Blanchette, Bonita (Rodger) Talstra, Brian (Roxanne) Rodermond, Neil (Shihgee) Rodermond; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. MARGERY LINDERMAN 1927 ~ 2023
Margery Violet Linderman of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the age of 95 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Terry (Darrel) Dola, Keith (Karen) Linderman and one son-in-law Gary Pahl. She also leaves to cherish her memory four grandchildren, Jennifer (Marc) van Ewijk, Nolan (Cortney) Pahl, Daniel Linderman and Thomas Linderman; two great grandchildren, Daxon Pahl, Nash Pahl and her nieces and nephews and their families. Margery was predeceased by her husband Archie on June 1, 1991, one daughter Judy Pahl on April 15, 2017, one sister Anne Kisinger as well as her special friend Almer Reichel. Margery was born September 28, 1927 on the family farm near Schuler. She attended school in Schuler and as a young woman ventured to Medicine Hat. She met Archie and they were married on July 16, 1950, in Medicine Hat where they made their home and raised their family. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Benjamin “Ben” Michael Harty of Lethbridge, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the age of 29 years.
