1931 – PETER VOLK – 2022

Peter Volk of Medicine Hat passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the age of 91 years. He leaves to cherish his memory one brother Alex Volk of Rolling Hills; one sister Jean Helpen of Vancouver, B.C. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Katherine and John Volk and by nine brothers and sisters, George, Tony, Anne Yanke, John, Andrew, Joseph, Phillip, Frances Maser and Katherine Volk. Peter was born and raised on the family farm located between Liebenthal and Leader. He worked on a cattle ranch at Wildhorse before working as a heavy equipment operator; driving cement truck for most of his career. His last many years were spent at Cypress View Foundation and later at Riverview. Peter loved to play cards and pool. He will be fondly remembered as a man of few words. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich officiating. 1967 – MARNI PRUDEN – 2022

Marni Gaye Margaret Pruden passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 55 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Tim; their son Tanner (Sydney) Pruden and her grandchildren, Bo, Judah and Everly. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (238 2nd Ave N.E.) on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Roque Pereira Celebrant.
