“She was like an angel sent from heaven to share her light with the world”

Lindsey Michelle Sine (Kurpjuweit), age 38, loving mother of 3 beautiful kids, adoring wife to husband Karl Sine, passed away unexpectedly on May 27th, 2022.
Lindsey was born on April 8th, 1984 in Medicine Hat, Alberta to a large, loving family. Lindsey was an expressive, caring, fun-loving, speak-her-mind kind of girl that carried on into her adult life. Her first love was her pet cat “Tiger” whom she adored. Summers were spent boating with family and friends at Mara Lake, BC. She always looked forward to these trips and felt care-free and happiest at the lake. Lindsey was a bright light of love and joy that spread to all the lives around her. Her smile was infectious and will never be forgotten.
In 2004, Lindsey moved to Rosebud, Alberta and over the span of 7 years, made a massive impact on the lives around her. There she completed her acting degree and met the man of her dreams. In 2008, she married her loving husband Karl and in 2010 they had their first child, Olivia, in the beautiful hamlet of Rosebud. Her greatest joy and most fulfilling job was being a mother.
In 2011, Lindsey and her family moved to Cochrane, Alberta, residing close to Karl’s parents where she discovered her true passion for midwifery. After experiencing her own home births, Lindsey pursued employment with Cochrane Community Midwives. Through incredible work ethic and a dedicated passion for her job, Lindsey was an integral part in the birth and growth of Shifra Centre for Wellness. She poured her heart and soul into the lives of every expecting mother that came through the door, ensuring each of them received the love and care that they needed.
