1930 – WIN WILSON – 2022

Winnifred “Win” Wilson of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Al Wilson, passed away on her 92nd birthday, June 3, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Graeme Wilson (Sharon Hayward) and Joan Wilson (Darwin Leacock); five grandchildren, Amy (Tim), Tyrell, Cordell, Cole and Alexis; one sister Joan Hoekstra. Win was predeceased by her husband Al on April 28, 2019; one grandson Evan; her parents Jennie and John Hobbelink; one brother Morris and one sister Frieda.
After graduating from the Galt School of Nursing, Lethbridge, Alberta in 1952, as a RN, Win had an illustrious 30 year career in several aspects of health care. Win was a member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church for over 67 years. Her deep and steadfast faith sustained and uplifted her throughout her life. She was married to the love of her life, Al for 64 years. Win will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family and friends.

Margaret Hobson of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, May 20th, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Henry Cornelius “Hank” Dueck of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Hank leaves to cherish his memory his children, Rodney (Prescelia) Dueck and Serena (Mitch) Dorey; grandchildren, Ashton (Samantha) Dueck, Bryce Dueck, and Celby (Dennis) Cotten; great-grandson, Isaac; as well as extended family and friends. Hank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Chere and daughter, Robyn. Hank was born in Moose Jaw, SK; the oldest of the six children. He moved to Alberta as a young man, settling with his wife and family in Medicine Hat, AB. LYDIA LAPP

November 10th, 1920 – June 4th, 2022
Lydia passed away peacefully at the Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat at the age of 101 years. Lydia is survived by her daughter, Kay Campbell; son, Stan Lapp; daughter, Nancy Lapp; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen and Genie.
Lydia was predeceased by her husband, George Lapp; son, Gordon Lapp; grandson, Todd Campbell; son-in-law, Jim Campbell. Mom loved line dancing, bowling and bingo. She loved horses and was a good rider. She played her harmonica often. The family thanks Riverview staff for their excellent care of mom the last 3 years.
