Margaret Rose Davis of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of Michael Davis, passed away on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 at the age of 82 years. 1951 ~ DIXIE FLAIG ~ 2022

Dixie Lee Flaig of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully following complications from a lifetime of Diabetes on Friday May 20, 2022 at the age of 70 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her partner and best friend Orville “Orv” Smeland of Medicine Hat; her daughter Renae (Lyle) Weiss of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren, Cobey, Bodee and Ryker; two brothers, Ken (Susan) Hellawell and Casey (Carmen) Hellawell; Orv’s family, Kathy (Wes) and Colleen (Ashley) and their daughter Freya; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marlene Shock; Gordon (Joanne), Brian (Susie) and Sonja well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dixie was predeceased by her parents, Irene and Paul Hellawell; her husband Gary on June 13, 2001 and one son Russell Flaig on February 25, 1987. CHARLOTTE ANNE LONSON

1938 ~ 2022
Anne Lonson of Medicine Hat peacefully passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 83 years, in the presence of her devoted husband, Don Lonson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her 6 children, Beth (Robin) Rosborough, Gavin (Shannon) Lonson, Brock (Sonja) Lonson, Mia (Sean) Glasser, Kerri (Wendell) Taylor and Carmen Murguly; as well as her 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Sylvia Bradish; and sister-in-law, Eugenia Richardson. She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Violet Richardson; twin brother, Allan Richardson; brother, Herb Young and wife, Toni; sister, Dorothy Chisholm and husband, Leonard; sister, Isabelle Allen and husband, Ken, and brother-in-law, James Bradish. Anne was born in Central Butte, Sask. on Dec. 5, 1938. She spent her early years on a farm in Log Valley, Sask. Reading and music have been her lifelong passion. In 1952, when her family moved to Medicine Hat she discovered another great joy, drama and musical theatre. She sang in the Westminster United Church choir for many years and enjoyed working as an Educational Assistant for the Medicine Hat School District. She had a great fondness for all the children in her life and had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. A Celebration of Anne's Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 27, 2022 at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB. ROBERT WILLIAM CHURCH

November 1st, 1951 – May 18th, 2022
Rob Church passed away on May 18th, 2022, at the age of 70 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sheila; sons, Cameron (Chrystal) and their children, Hayes, Cooper and Chesney; Cody (Kendra) and their children, Gracy, Stella and Maeve; sister-in-law, Norma Church; several in-laws in Nova Scotia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rob was predeceased by his parents, Mona and Bud Church; and his brother, Lynn Church.

Rob was born November 1st, 1951, in Medicine Hat. Rob started working at Safeway at the age of 16 years and over the course of 45 years, worked at several stores in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge, retiring in 2013 at the Safeway Gas Bar.

Rob and Sheila met in 1974, married in 1976. Together they had 2 sons, Cameron and Cody.
Rob was involved in coaching his sons in minor hockey and enjoyed watching them play. He announced the Cubs hockey games for several years.
At a young age, Rob learned to ride horses and in his teen years, with his brother, Lynn, ran the trail rides at Elkwater. This is when Rob learned to tell stories, jokes and entertain people.
He enjoyed MCing at weddings and hockey banquets, entertaining everyone with his humor. In later years, he enjoyed trail rides, riding his horse, Radar, with friends in the Cypress Hills.
For years, Rob and Sheila entertained friends at their September long weekend parties playing horseshoes.
His retirement years were spent enjoying time with his 6 grandkids and going to classic car shows. Rob’s grandkids will always remember hugs and cuddle times with their Papa.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
