Dorothy Grace Merle Semenok of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the age of 93 years, beloved wife of the late William Semenok. 1930 ~ THELMA GOOD ~ 2021

Thelma Mabel Good of Medicine Hat passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the age of 91 years, beloved wife of the late Earl Good. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Debra (Rodney) Feil and Lori Jones; four grandchildren, Jason (Tracey), Jaime (Shane), Courtney, Derek (Beth); six great grandchildren, Weston, Carter, Collins, William, Natalie and Alice; sister, Ruth Bossert as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Christian and Eva Maier; her husband Earl Good on January 13, 2021; son-in-law, Howard Jones; six brothers, Reinhold, Paul, Oscar, Alvin, Elmer and Ernest; three sisters, Viola (in infancy), Esther Walter and Lenora Jesse. Thelma received her teaching certificate and taught at Muller School but mostly spent her time ranching for thirty plus year. Mom was a great cook and she hosted many gatherings for family and friends. She was a hardworking wife, homemaker and rancher. No matter the challenge, she faced it with enthusiasm and dedication. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Family and friends are invited to remotely attend the funeral service by going to youtube – search Pattison Funeral Home. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. 1933 ~ LLOYD SULZ ~ 2021

Lloyd Harold Sulz passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Marlene Sulz of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory four children, Ronalea (Art) Lynn, Valerie Witt, Myron (Danette) Sulz and Rick (Cheryl) Sulz; six grandchildren, Jered, Jesse, Ford, Carter, Kendra (Beau) and their children, Karissa, Beckett and Bodhi, Cole (Annique), Megan (Travis) and Tristen; his sister, Diane (Milton) Jacksteit as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Matilda Sulz; one brother Howard in infancy, and a great grandson Carson. Lauree Pearl Sauter (Ree) aged 79 passed away peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Medicine Hat Hospital. Lauree is survived by Bruce Johnson the father to her children; son, Bruce Johnson Jr.; daughters, Tammy Johnson, Rosetta (Kevin) Sanders, Lana Johnson; grandchildren, Lisa (Jeff), Corrinn, Matthew (Yessica), Robert, Keith (Laura), Bailey, Jeffrey (Krista), Hjelmar (Wendy), Ryan; great-grandchildren, Danya, Katie, Abella, Kylee, Kyra, Alice, Cody, Hugh, Lydia; brother, Gerry (Lorraine) Johnson; sister, Mary-Ann Hamel; sister-in-law, Carol Johnson; step-children, Vicki Kochanski, Sherri Cook, Rick (Tilly) Sauter, Cathy Kletic; step-grandchildren, Karry, Jessie, Katherine, Christopher, Kevin, Amanda, Devon, Rebecca, Andrew; step-great-grandchildren, Jayda, Ashton, Dannika, Tyson, Ava-Rae, Kahleigh, Brock, Adam and Rachael; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lauree was predeceased by her parents, Nathan and Pearl Johnson; husband, Hugh Sauter; son, Keith Johnson; brother, Nels Johnson; sister, Linda Barth, Georgina Bendall; daughter-in-law, Debbie, and step-daughter, Glenna. Lauree was born September 5, 1941 in Lethbridge, Alberta. She and her siblings were mostly raised in Raymond, Alberta, a small rural town where they built strong community bonds. Lauree lived a life full of love, children, family, and adventure. Some of her many hobbies included genealogy, crafting, and online gaming. When faced with adversity, she made the best of what she had. This spirit and cheeky personality made her memorable to all that met her. Lauree made many friends in her travels and took pride in maintaining those friendships. She was the most content surrounded by family and most importantly the children. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, even the neighbors’ children. She loved them all. Lauree was immersed in the LDS community and can tribute many of her family values to her ties to the church. Her faith provided her hope and strength. MARGARET BROCK (nee WILKER)

1937 ~ 2021
Margaret Brock (nee Wilker) passed away peacefully at Age Care Valleyview Centre on May 17, 2021 at the age of 83. Margaret is survived by her common-law husband of 47 years, Murray Dube. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Greg, David, and Terry; stepsons, Blake, and Mark; grandchildren, Kassy, Leah, Kristen, Kale, Lainey, and Kailey. Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Myrle Wilker; first husband, William (Bill) Brock; and brother, Harry Wilker. Margaret was born near Turtleford, Saskatchewan in 1937. She met her husband, William (Bill) in Imperial, Saskatchewan and they had three sons, Greg, David, and Terry, later settling in Regina. She was the quintessential hockey Mom shuttling three boys to every practice and game. After her first husband William passed away in 1972, she met Murray and remained in Regina until 2008, retiring since then in Medicine Hat Alberta. Margaret adored her grandchildren, Kassy, Leah, Kristen (David and Cynthia), Kale (Terry and Melanie) and Lainey and Kailey (Blake and Della Dube) and they were the center of her life in her latter years. Margaret was known to her friends and family as being kind, loving, generous and hardworking. She was often described as the “energizer bunny” while managing Dewdney Drugs in Regina. Her home was open to all and many were recipients of her endless kindness and support. Special thanks go out to Age Care Valleyview Continuing Care Centre for the compassionate care she received at the end of her life. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on May 21, 2021 at 1:30 pm (Mountain Standard time).
