1936 ~ ALFRIEDA VORRA ~ 2020

Alfrieda Vorra of Dunmore, beloved wife of the late Gordon Vorra, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Alfrieda leaves to cherish her memory her children, Brenda Livingstone (Byron Horsfall), Cheryl (Bob) Patrick and Don (Shelley) Vorra; grandchildren, John (Deb) Horsfall, Renée Qualizza, Ryan (Kristina) Livingstone, Clayton (Miranda) Patrick, Candice Patrick, Taylor Vorra, Tori Vorra; great-grandchildren, Riley, Adrian, Connor, Isabella, Hunter, Madison and Alanna; brother, Andrew (Marilyn) Werth; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alfrieda was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; parents, Gottlieb and Melita; brother, Jacob Werth; and sisters, Lena Harden and Viola Hassard. The Memorial Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB, on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 at 10:30 with Gary W. Goran officiating. A private family interment will follow at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to 100 people including clergy and staff. A beautiful tribute to the ‘Cat Lady’ was held this past Thursday in Cook’s Chapel, uniting family with friends in saying farewell to Eileen Hoffman. The memories shared through her video tribute will forever be cherished by those sharing in this day.

KENNETH LAWRENCE IVARSON

1937 – 2020
Kenneth Ivarson, late of Medicine Hat, AB and formerly of Estevan, SK passed away in Medicine Hat, AB on Wednesday, August 27, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife Marlene and his parents. Kenneth is survived by his children: Earl Ivarson, Marjorie (Rick) Breisnes, Colette (Lorne) Stuart, James Ivarson and Kimberly (Dale) Dickson. Left with special memories are Kenneth’s grandchildren and great grandchildren: Colby (Kim) Bay – Ava and Emily; Jessie Ivarson (Steven); Chelsea Ivarson; Michael Breisnes; Stacey (Corey) Dornian – Ethan and Logan; Alisha Lloyd (Jody) – Kaydra, Kiera and Kaysen; Amber (Cody) Betham – Emma and Emmett; Candice Ivarson (Andrew) – Isaac, Noelan, Dylan and William; Matthew Ivarson (Breanne) – Charlie; Maxine Ivarson (Aaron); Payton Ivarson; Lindsey (Dustin) Siewert – Marcus, Everett and Hazel and Mackenzie (Brittney) Dickson – Cora and Ruby. Kenneth will also be remembered by his sister Margaret Hainstock, special friends, Wendy Lueke and Ken Lloyd, as well as numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. A Private Family Gathering took place in Estevan, SK to honour Kenneth’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kenneth to a charity of your choice. Hall Funeral Services in Estevan is caring for Kenneth’s family – Deb Heidinger, Funeral Director.


MITCHELL SERR

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Mitchell Clarke Serr announces his passing at the age of 34. A most loved son, family member and friend passed away August 27, 2020. Mitchell is survived by his loving parents Cathryn and Ron Treiber; Larry Serr. Mitchell’s little family Dez, Hayden, Jayce & Hayley. Mitchell also leaves to cherish his memory his grandmother Elizabeth (Toney) Soneff; aunts, uncles and cousins; Heather (Steve) Clarke; Devon Felesky and her daughter Kait, Adam & Dayna Felesky and their children Faith, Ella and Theodore. Bob & Donna Clarke; Kevin, Jason and Colin. Ken and Donna Serr; Tamara & Jeff Noon and family, Kevin Ferguson and Family. Sylvia & Wilf Jans; David & Sara and their children JulieAnn and Ty, Lynette and Steve and their children Connor & Erin. Chosen family Darren & Carole Visosky and their children Jami, Jenna & Jordan. Mitch loved his family and friends fiercely, and was loved by so many more. His smile and personality would light up an entire room, his creativity and artistic talent will be cherished by many. Mitch will always be remembered for love, laughter, and happiness he brought to everyone around him. The family will attend a celebration of life on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB. The family invites friends to view the live streamed service at the Carriage House – Pioneer Village, Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Grounds. Following the service, the family will join friends for a time of fellowship at the Pioneer Village.
