1940 – ZAHARYCHUK – 2020

Florence Elizabeth Zaharychuk passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, at the age of 79 years, beloved wife of Clifford Zaharychuk of Medicine Hat. She leaves to cherish her memory their son David Craig of Vancouver; one brother Doug Williamson; her sisters Shirley (Wilf) Desnoyers and Bonnie Williamson. She was predeceased by her parents Lydia and James Gutfriend and her sisters Diane McLaren and Terry (Koon) Baier. A private family time of remembrance will be held. 1941 ~ LAWTON ~ 2020

Charles William Lawton passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the age of 78 years, beloved husband of Carol Lawton of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory four children, Neil (Kim) Lawton and their children Carson and Delaney; Ken Lawton; Tara (Mike) Holder and their children Deion and Ayden; Brenda Lawton (Will Sweeney); one daughter-in-law Shelley Lawton and her children Jade (Wayne) Arsenault (Chloe and Oliver); Willow (Nathan) Ray (Maclin and Isaiah); one brother Roy (Sylvia) Lawton as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Charles Lawton; one son Charles William Lawton Jr. on January 2, 2019 and by one brother Brian. The funeral service will be held in the Crossroad Alliance Church (1340 – 22nd Street S.E.) on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Cartwright officiating. 1961 ~ W.T. SCOTT BLAIR ~ 2020

My name is Scott Blair and on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020, I changed my address to: W.T. SCOTT BLAIR, C/O God my Father, Jesus my Savior, and The Holy Spirit my guider, HEAVEN. I have left to cherish my memory my mother, Connie; my brother, Jim (Marilyn), my sister, Kelly and numerous nieces and nephews. I was predeceased by my father, Bill Blair and my niece, Kimberly Blair. I was born in Ft. Macleod on May 13th, 1961 and moved to Calgary when I was four years old. I was educated at Springbank School until grade 10 and then completed my high school at Concordia College in Edmonton. My secondary education was completed at the University of Hawaii where I lived for 38 years. I loved spending time at, on and in the ocean and appreciated my loyal friends and Beachcomber Pool and Spa customers. Thank you mom for your love and support throughout my life and your unwavering commitment to my care during my illness. Thank you Uncle Miles and Linda for being there for mom and me these past months. Thank you St. Joseph Home’s Carmel Hospice for your care in my final days. TERI BEAUCHESNE

Oct. 28, 1963 ~ Jan. 27, 2020
It is with a heavy heart that Gerry announces that his beloved wife, Teri Lynne Beauchesne passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, in Calgary, at the age of 56 years. Along with Gerry, Teri will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Diane (Don) Brown; step-mom, Jan Ottley; brother, Trevor Ottley; nephews, Nathan and Brandon Ottley as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and members of Gerry’s family. Teri was predeceased by her father, Cameron Ottley; aunt, Cherry Peterson; grandparents, Albert (Rachel) Ottley and Archie (Adeline) Syms. Teri was born in Eckville, Alberta on October 28, 1963. She married the love of her life, Gerry, in Mission, BC on April 20, 1992. They moved to Slave Lake where they established their own oilfield business and later settled in Medicine Hat where they continued their business in the area. Teri and Gerry were lifetime buddies, working as partners in life and in business. She especially loved cooking together and spending time with her dogs and cats. A Celebration of Teri’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, February 7, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Sheldon Andreas officiating.
