ASHLEY BITZ

1990 ~ 2019
With our deepest sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our dear daughter, Ashley Dawn Bitz on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the young age of 28 years. Ashley will be extremely missed by her parents, Randy and Donna Bitz; her siblings, Colin (Jen), Jordan (Sasha) and Alyssa (Sean); her beloved children, Dallas (7yrs), Drayden (5yrs) and Abigail (3yrs); grandmother, Joyce Renshaw as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Darlene Carlson; grandfathers, Duane Carlson and Gus Bitz and her fiancé, Trevor Tremblay. Ashley was born October 12, 1990 in Medicine Hat where she spent the majority of her life. Ashley’s biggest love was for her children and family. She loved to laugh, joke around and help others. She made many friends over the years and she will be forever loved and missed by all! Eleanora Alma Bender of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the age of 95 years, beloved wife of the late Joseph Bender. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the church on Monday from 12:30 p.m. – 1:25 p.m. The funeral service will be held in St. Peter Lutheran Church (758 8th Street SE) on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Pastor Shane Hein officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. 1931 ~ 2019
Jacquie passed away peacefully at home in Medicine Hat on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the age of 88 years. Mom was born on January 25, 1931 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and moved many times over the years before settling in Medicine Hat. She is survived by her loving daughter, Loni (Jimmy) O'Hearne; daughters-in-law, Ann and Jan; son-in-law, Laurie; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Jean) Stone; sister, Sharon (Mel) Wells; brother-in-law, Ron Richardson; sister-in-law, Dale Richardson as well as two special sisters, Cathy and Betty. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray; son, Terry; daughter, Tracy and son, Derik. A Celebration of Jacquie’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. SHIRLEY ANNE CORBETT

Shirley Anne Corbett, 56, of Medicine Hat, passed away September 18, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Joseph and Mary Lenoie, Mar. 27, 1963, in Cornwall, Ontario. Shirley is survived by four children; James Corbett, Chantal Noriega, Mensha Franks Jr. and Sabrina Kimber. Shirley was predeceased by her infant child, Paul Jr. and by her parents Lesley (Buddy Boy) and Shirley Corbett. Shirley will be remembered always by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, at St. Barnabas Anglican Church at 2:30 p.m
