1963 ~ BONNIE WARKENTINE ~ 2019

Bonnie Jean Warkentine, beloved wife of Gordon Warkentine of Seven Persons, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, September 1st, 2019 at the age of 55 years. Bonnie also leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Janine (Dylan) Stuber, Holly-Lynn (Dale) Hunter, Angelina Warkentine (Derek Faichuk) and Rochelle (Cory) Poss; her mother, Marie Anderson; twelve grandchildren, Jordyn Stuber, Braden Stuber, Aubrey Stuber, Emmett Stuber, Erika Hunter, Adalynn Hunter, Presley Hunter, Bane Faichuk, Makhi Faichuk, Kylie Poss, Taylor Poss and Owen Poss; two brothers, Eric (Janet) Anderson and Mike (Lois) Zvolensky; two sisters, Melanie Anderson and Lori Johnson; her biological father, George (Jean) Zvolensky; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie was predeceased by her father, Robert Anderson; and one grandson, Bennett Faichuk. Bonnie was born on October 29th, 1963 in Brooks, Alberta. She was devoted to her husband, Gordon, who she loved greatly. Bonnie was known for taking care of others and loved time spent with her grandchildren. She had an incredible sense of humour and enjoyed cooking and camping. Bonnie had amazing strength and courage through her long 8-year battle with cancer. The family would like to thank Dr. Foley and staff from the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre and the nurses, doctors and staff at St. Joseph’s Home, Carmel Hospice for their excellent care of Bonnie. 1965 ~ CARLYLE GILL ~ 2019

Carlyle James Gill, of Empress, AB, passed away on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 at the age of 54 years. Carlyle leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Violet Lohr; brothers, Kevin (Lisa) Perich, Dennis (Angie) Lohr and Collin (Vicky) Lohr; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carlyle was predeceased by his father; sister, Colleen Lohr; grandparents, Carl and Elnora Gill; along with numerous relatives that have gone before. CONSTANCE “CONNIE” CYSTER

(NEE SNOWDON)
April 29th, 1923 ~ September 2nd, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Connie Cyster, in Medicine Hat from complications of a broken hip, at the age of 96 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, son, Ron; daughters, Norma Mueller (David Gourlay) and Lynn (Jim) Moore; as well as grandson, Aaron Cyster; and her sister, Muriel Snowdon. She will be missed by nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Mom was born in Manitoba and moved to Medicine Hat in 1946 when she married Allan. Connie was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Snowdon; twin sister, Daisy; brother, Keith; and her loving husband, Allan Cyster. Mom was involved with Girl Guides for many years, was an avid gardener and loved her African Violets. She bowled for many years and loved doing handicrafts. She was a founding member of All Saints’ Anglican Church and a member of ACW. She was a kind woman, always willing to help others. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Connie’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all those that helped Mom over the years at Chinook Village, MHRH (2N and 5W), Masterpiece Southland Meadows and the Carmel Hospice at St. Joseph’s Home. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gloria Schirok officiating. A private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery. ERIC STIGTER

A wonderful show of support was felt by the family as many friends and relatives joined together to celebrate Eric’s life. A tribute of pictures and music along with the heartfelt words that were shared, reached out and touched the hearts of those in attendance. Eric’s memory will be cherished and lovingly remembered.
