1940 – IRENE LEHMAN – 2018

Irene Theresa Lehman (nee Hardin) of Medicine Hat crossed over on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Irene was born October 1, 1940 to Ridley and Theresa Hardin. Irene was a daughter, mother, wife, cousin, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had the cleanest house and always had time for her neighbors, friends, and family. Irene loved to gamble and dance. Her friends and family are comforted, safe in the knowledge that Irene is listening to Roxette's "Joyride" while playing VLT's with a brownie in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Irene leaves to cherish her memory her two brothers, Jim (Sharon) and Jack (Edith), three sons, Ernie (Jackie) of Medicine Hat, Allen of Medicine Hat, and Dwayne (Shan) of Calgary, her daughter, Tina of Kelowna, BC, seven grandchildren, Kelly, Nevada, Caitlyn, Courtney, Sydney, Samuel, and Taylor; along with six great-grandchildren; Jorja, Ty, Claire, Linken, Kyrsen, Ashlynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Ronald. Irene had the most beautiful green eyes and a sparkle that was contagious. We thank her for leaving that little sparkle, strength and wit in all of us. A time of celebration of Irene’s life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to honor Irene may donate to St. Joseph's Home, 156 Third Street NE, Medicine Hat, AB. A private family time of remembrance has been held. For a well deserved rest,
It should come as no surprise,
For God only takes the best.”
