Maria D. Hofer, 92 years old, passed away on Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 at the Rosedale Colony. Mary was born at Alexandria, South Dakota and moved to Magrath, Alberta in 1932, and to Rosedale in 1953. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary; three sisters; six brothers; her parents; and her in-laws. A special thank you to all her caretakers and Bow Island Home Care for their special care in the last three and a half years. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marie Ann Anderson announce her passing on Thursday, August 29, 2018, at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital at the age of 62 years. Marie leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Helena; three sons: Trevor (Shelley) and their children, Jayden and MacKenzie, Steven (Brandy) and their children, Chenelle, Kassi, Taylar and Race, Chase and his children, Chevelle and Gage along with their father, Garry Anderson; sisters, Carol (Dennis) Bergen, Gail (Sid) Hurlbert and Yvonne (Warren) Affleck as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Marie was predeceased by her father, Walter. Marie’s loving embrace was felt by all and will be missed!
