Bev was well known for her smile and great sense of humor. Making you laugh no matter how bad you may have been feeling. She was a gifted musician playing the guitar by ear and singing from an early age. Many great times were had listening to her play and sing. Bev loved animals wholeheartedly and had numerous pets throughout her life. Recently she had to part with her beloved Lucky and Buddy.
Bev and Felix would have been married for 50 years April 5, 2018. They had many great adventures together over the years. They lived in Birch Hills and Maple Creek, Saskatchewan eventually retiring in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Bev was an active member of the Medicine Hat heights Baptist church. Singing on Sundays provided great enjoyment for her as well as quilting with Church ladies. Bev made many special friends over the years and will be greatly missed.
Bev started her battle with cancer in 2012. She has amazed us with her strength and courage as she underwent chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries. Bev was the director of her medical care and even though cancer took her body it never got her power. Truly a role model of strength to all of those around her. Bev died at home with her family at her bedside.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Foley and the staff of the Margery E Yuill Cancer Center in Medicine Hat, Alberta – she loved you all. Medicine Hat Home Care and We Care for the great services provided to her – especially Darlene RN and Karina RN.
Our hearts are broken but we know she is free of pain dancing in Heaven with her son. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life May 20th at 2pm at Heights Baptist Church- 1250 Division Avenue South Medicine Hat, Alberta.
