1954 ~ JAMES SATRE ~ 2017

With deep sadness and despair, we announce the untimely passing of James Dale Satre on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at the age of 63 years. James was a gentle soul who had a strong affinity with nature. James spent much of his free-time travelling, he enjoyed going on outdoor adventures alone and with his family. His passions included photography, reading and caring for his plants. As a Red Seal Chef and self- employed painter; he had many connections within the community and will be greatly missed by many neighbours, friends and family. James is survived by two sisters, Linda (Alfred Sr.) Peard and their daughter, Destiny Peard, Marie Lippert and her children, Curtis Lippert and Shawn Fischer; and one brother, Daniel (Wendy) Satre and their children, Derek Satre, Christina Glauser, Kyle Satre and Joshua Satre. James was predeceased by his parents, John and Olga Satre; and two nephews, Ramen Peard and Alfred Peard Jr. A Come and Go Memorial Service will be held at the SAAMIS CREEKSIDE CENTRE, 11 Dunmore Road SE, on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent through http://www.saamis.com or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading James Satre.
