Debra “Deb” “Debbie” Robin Mann (nee: Dallard) of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the age of 57 years, beloved mother to her four children, Jamie (Kevin) Wlock (their children Kylan and Klara); Jeremy Dallard, Joalee Dallard (Alex Zanidean) and Jesse Dallard; her mother Helen Dallard of Medicine Hat; her brother Darcy (Darlene) Dallard and their children Dalyce (Todd) Schofield (Hailey and Ava); Devon Dallard (Kristen Westby); her sister, Dianne (Mark) Gilchrist and their children Ian Gilchrist and Cameron Gilchrist. She was predeceased by her father Donald in 1991. Deb was born June 8, 1959 at Prelate, Saskatchewan where she was raised. In 1973, she moved with her family to Medicine Hat where she finished her schooling at Crescent Heights High School. She began her life long love of music on the piano at the age of six. After they moved to Medicine Hat she learned how to play the guitar, and while taking lessons she helped teach other students. Music became her career; she taught at the United Conservatory of Music and in 1995, she started her own business “Music in the Making”. She taught until ill health forced her to stop. Throughout her busy musical life, she also raised four children and was involved in many community groups. SCHNEIDER


Paul Valentine Schneider of Medicine Hat passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the age of 82 years, beloved husband of the late Martina Schneider. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Randy (Laurie) Schneider, Larry (Joanne) Schneider, Arlene (Kim) Materi, Dale (Edith) Schneider, Wayne (Gwen) Schneider, Lynnette (Glenn) Feil, and Laurie (Cory) Manz; his special friend, Peggy Breakall; his grandchildren and their families, Bradley (Lindsey) (Jaelyn and Maci); Leslie (Heather) (Brock and Austin); Jolene (Frank) (Luc, Ryden and Isabelle); Tanya; Shawna (Kyle) (Coen and Torin); Darcy (Stephanie); Amber (Aaron); Travis (Ashley) (Chloe, Claire and Kate); Sierra (Jesse) (Declan); Cheyenne; Evan (Cassidy); Raelyn; Brent; Delaine (Brayden); Mckayla; Ryley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Paul had many siblings as step brothers and sisters. His father Frank was married to Odelia who passed away at a young age. Their children: twins, Magdalena and Margaret, Mary, Pauline, George, Ben, Adam, Rose Wendlin and Andrew (all deceased). Frank then married Regatha Bischoff and they raised his children plus six more: Anne Wagner, Paul Schneider, Josephine Koch, Veronica Dirk, Katherine Hauck (deceased) and Anne Marie Syroiszka. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law Fred Syroiszka, George Hauck and one sister-in-law Delores Steinkey. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Regatha Schneider and his wife, Martina on March 14, 2007; one sister Katherine Hauck; brothers-in-law, Tony A. Wagner, Peter Koch, Tony Dirk and Reuben Steinkey. Dad enjoyed farming, singing, playing guitar and cards, and loved to dance and spend many hours with family and friends. His faith remained strong until the very end and will be missed by his family and friends. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friends and family will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Philip Le celebrant. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m. in Hillside Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend may gather inside the cemetery gates at 2:45 p..m. Sharon Eleanor Kubat, beloved wife of the late Wes Kubat, passed away in Okotoks on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 71 years.
