ADELE ARMSTRONG Adele (Havard) Armstrong, well known musician, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015. The Funeral Service was held yesterday at FIFTH AVENUE MEMORIAL UNITED CHURCH. Louis Chow age 83, passed peacefully October 31st. Louis is predeceased by his beloved wife, Bernice of 31 years. Louis is survived by his 5 children, Eric, Iesha (Pierre), Perry, Emil (Corinne), Kelly, and 6 grand children – Parker, Garett, Rhylee, Karleigh, Tyson, Sarah. Louis contributed to the business community with 50+ yrs with his many wonderful adventures through the hospitality industry & retired in 2006 from his Heartbeat Restaurant business, upon where he travelled back to China for the next couple of years. CHRIS CZEMBER Chris G. Czember passed away on October 31st, 2015 at the age of 38 years. He is survived by his daughter, Sydney Dorchak; and his father, Lyle Czember. CHRISTIAN F. AUCH Chris was born July 17, 1924 in Schuler, Alberta. His family moved to Medicine Hat and he attended Elm Street and Alexandra Junior High Schools. He enlisted in the army in 1941 and took his training in Hamilton, Ontario. Chris was shipped to England, trained as a Motor Mechanic and served in the 4th Armoured Regiment in Europe. After the war, he worked in Toronto for many years. He came back to Medicine Hat to spend his retirement years. Chris passed away on November 2, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene, in August 1991. He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter, Shirley Beadle and Granddaughter, Victoria Weekes in Ontario, and his best friend and loving companion, Esme Crowther. Chris will be remembered by his friends as a kind, caring, generous gentleman who loved children and animals, especially dogs. He loved to work in the yard, tinker in the garage, read, and travel, especially to Hawaii. Chris was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #17 and the Veiner Centre where he enjoyed time with his buddies. We would like to thank the staff at the Masterpiece for the excellent care and loving ways they took care of Chris during his illness. A memorial service will be held a later date. Family first… Last Friday, family gathered privately at Cook’s to honour the life of a remarkable lady, Lea Bailey. Diaconal Minister Lila de Waal led the celebration which included a video tribute filled with numerous recent photos as well as photos from days gone by. Lea’s children, Leslie, Mark and Richard shared words from the heart providing insight into the life of this much loved Mother! Lea’s daughter, Allyson, shared a personal tribute, singing a song chosen by her mother. Fellowship continued in the Reception Facility reminiscing over memories.

NADA JOY DULLE November 6th, 1961 ~ November 2nd, 2015
It is with great sorrow that the family of Nada Joy Dulle announce her passing on November 2nd, 2015. Her loving husband, Murray Symington was by her side as she fought to the end. Nada is survived by her children: Paul Arabsky, his wife, Sara de Rosenroll, and their beautiful children, Bodhe, Piper, Kinsie, and Milo; Rebecca Arabsky, her partner, Matt; and Tyler Arabsky, his partner, Natasha. She is also survived by her father, Julian; her mother, Irene; sisters, Glenda (Arne) and Carmen (Tim); as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Nada was a blessing to all she met with the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. Family came first in her life, her flowers a close second.
Not until just scant weeks ago was she not ever convinced she would beat her evil disease. A journal excerpt from September 19th had her out in the sun transplanting and playing in the dirt (her therapy), upbeat till the end.
Nada was determined that she would have a positive outcome. Throughout her fight she was committed to make things better for others. She had a dream to provide others with a “home away from home” for anyone in need of a haven close to the hospital. Nada knocked on many doors in her effort to make this haven a reality. Nada’s dream came true when she found a supporter and a house. Nada will not see the completion of her “house of hope” but she leaves her community with her inspirational legacy.
Following her cremation, Nada will return to her favorite place in the world. A private family service will be held at that time. STANLEY E. SKAGEN February 20, 1929 – Oct 22, 2015
Surrounded by family, Stanley went peacefully to his Lord and Saviour. He is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Doris and his nine children, their spouses as well as 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Signor and Anne, and his only sibling Alvin as well as grandchildren Megan and Spencer. A service to celebrate his life is on November 16 at 3:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
