1920 ~ WEISGERBER ~ 2015

Eva Weisgerber of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Nicholas Weisgerber, passed away on Monday, June 29th, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Eva leaves to cherish her memory her children, Joseph (Debbie), Bruno (Cynthia), Marie (Clarence) Ibach, John (Karen), Catherine (David) Koch, Michael (Michelle), and Theresa (David) Kungel; thirty grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Rose Marie) Tuchscherer; one sister, Julia Mastel; her in-laws, Bill and Theresa Weisgerber and Tillie Koester; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her husband, Nick; her parents, Bruno and Katherine Tuchscherer; two brothers, Joe Tuchscherer and Bernard Tuchscherer; and three sisters, Angela Garrecht, Teckla Tuchscherer and Theresa Jezequel. Eva was born on June 19th, 1920 in Richmound, Saskatchewan where she was raised and educated. She worked and lived in Saskatoon before her marriage to Nick in Richmound on May 31st, 1954. Together they farmed at Schuler before retiring to Medicine Hat in 1980. Eva was a member of the Holy Family Parish C.W.L. and the Pro Life movement of Medicine Hat. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Philip Le, Celebrant. A Private Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Section at Hillside Cemetery.
