.BROUDY, HARRY ISAIAH
Broudy, Harry Isaiah, late of Melfort, Sask. passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2014 in Melfort, Sask. at the age of 57 years. Harry is survived by his parents, Rhoda and Albert Broudy of Melfort, his sister Debbie Broudy-Dubinski (Richard Dubinski) and their son Daniel Dubinski who was Harry’s “special nephew,” all of Medicine Hat, Alberta; his sister, Sandra Broudy (Tobin Robbins) of Vancouver, B.C.
A funeral service was held November 30 at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert with interment in the Hebrew Section at the South Hill Cemetery in Prince Albert, Sask.

.D’AMBROSIO
Carmine D’Ambrosio passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015, at the age of 86 years, beloved husband of Antonietta D’Ambrosio of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Nina (Ed Michalchuk) D’Ambrosio and Susanne (Gary) Lang all of Calgary; four grandchildren, Andrea Michalchuk, Brittany Michalchuk, Amanda Lang and Justin Lang; one sister, Maria Troisi-D’Ambrosio and a sister-in-law Grazia Addonizio both of Italy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Angelina and Antonio D’Ambrosio; two brothers Michele and Angelo and one sister Antonina. Carmine was born in Italy on January 29, 1928 , coming from humble agrarian background, his struggles laid the foundation for his future ambition, drive and strong work ethic. Carmine immigrated to Canada in 1952, settling first in Montreal, then venturing west with CP Rail where he established himself in Medicine Hat. In 1959, he went back to Italy and found the love of his life, Antonietta, where they married in Venticano, Italy. Returning back to Canada with his new bride, set the stage for their bright new future. Canada provided him the opportunity to create much abundance in life through his family, with his career at Goodyear, dabbling in real estate, the stock market and his passion for gardening and wine making. He lived for his family and especially his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart. He was known by friends and neighbors as a kind, compassionate and generous soul who gave from the bottom of his heart. Each day of his 55 years with Antonietta was full of companionship and respect. Their marriage displayed the meaning of true love. Carmine will be missed by all. We would especially like tothank the home care team and palliative care at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Sunday evening from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 12 noon – 12:55 p.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Albert Sayson celebrant. Interment will take place in Queen’s Park Mausoleum, Calgary on Wednesday February 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m with Fr. David Meadows officiating. On Saturday, January 24, 2015 Dorothy Giacobbo of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 82 years.
Dorothy is survived by her children Bernard (Kirsti) Giacobbo of Athabasca, Bernadette (Ken) Kaufman of Lac La Biche, Geralyn Mouille of Fort Saskatchewan, Anna-Marie (Bruce) Adolf of Lac La Biche, Serina (Gordon) Lavallee of Lac La Biche, Rick (Tracey) Giacobbo of Sherwood Park, Angela Giacobbo of Sherwood Park, grandchildren Jared (Dana) Mouille, Colleen Adolf, Kent (Jill) Kaufman, Christopher Giacobbo (Jacelyn), Byron Adolf, Dennis (Val) Kaufman, Micki (Travis) Wagner, Joshua Lavallee, David Giacobbo, Kelly Giacobbo, Sydney Lavallee, Taylor Giacobbo, Dani Giacobbo, great grandchildren Connor & Hunter Mouille, Brynn Kaufman, brother Mike (Nancy) Hertz, nephews Jason & Cregg Hertz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Angelo Giacobbo in 2014, parents Michael & Clementine Hertz, brothers Michael, Edward, & Tony Hertz, son in law Dennis Mouille, father & mother in law Salvatore & Florence Giacobbo.
Prayer Services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 7:00 PM at St. Annes Catholic Church in Venice with Fr. Trini Pinca officiating.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Annes Catholic Church in Venice with Fr. Trini Pinca officiating. “Cremation to follow at a later date.”

.GLAUSER
Ellen Charlotte Glauser of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at the age of 89 years, beloved wife of the late Earl Glauser. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Shelley (Murray) Roll and Garry Glauser; her grandchildren, Boe (her sons, Coby and Cole), Blue and Tammy; one brother Robert Launder as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mary Anne and Alfred Launder; her husband Earl; two sons, David and James; one daughter Joan; two brothers, Jim and Harry and one sister Marjie. Ellen was born on June 4, 1925 in Fulham, London, England. On April 1, 1942 she married Earl W. Glauser in Vancouver, B.C. They then moved to a farm at Lemsford, Saskatchewan where they raised their family. She was a strong community supporter, taught Sunday school, belonged to the CWL and was an honoured Royal Lady of the Sceptre Lodge. She loved to garden and do all sorts of hobbies. The happiest days of her life were teaching ladies ceramics on the farm in her little ceramic house. She was a very kind and generous person. Ellen loved children and was always there to give them a home and provide for them. She was a true angel on earth with a smile and a laugh that would light up the world. She had nothing but love and true dedication to her children. She will be sadly missed and never ever forgotten. 1958 ~ 2015
It is with sadness that the family of Neil Dragland announce his passing which occurred in Bow Island at the age of 56. Neil is survived by his father, Vern Dragland; his mother, Margaret (Ian) Anderson and his brother, Lyle Dragland. He was predeceased by his brother, Glen Dragland. A Celebration of Neil’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Monday, February 2, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Norman Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship and refreshments thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. .RON (R.J.) JOHNSON

August 27, 1956 ~ January 24, 2015

Ronald David Johnson, known by his close friends as R.J., passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice, Medicine Hat on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the age of 58 years following a courageous battle with cancer. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Maureen; daughter, Joelle and son, Taylor as well as his father, Elmer and mother-in-law, Betty Scheibner. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Lana; brothers, Murray (Joanne), Ralph (Maya) and Lyle (Bev) Johnson along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ron was pre-deceased by his mother, Helen Johnson and father-in-law, Clarence Scheibner. Ron was born on August 27, 1956, in Assiniboia, SK., attending high school in Limerick, SK., and college in Lethbridge, AB. He moved to Bassano, AB., and started his ranching career in 1975 with LK Ranches Ltd. Ron married Maureen Scheibner in 1980 and after 13 years they moved to the Fort Macleod area where their children were born. In 1994, Ron changed careers and started working in the environmental consulting business with oil and gas companies. In 1997, the family moved to an acreage near Medicine Hat where Ron started his own consulting company, Prairie View Consulting. Ron was passionate about his work and demonstrated this passion through his commitment to the protection of native grassland. He provided many innovative ideas to reducing oil and gas environmental impacts. Ron was well respected in the rural communities and with the farmers and ranchers. He also earned great respect from the people he worked with and provided services for. Ron was very active and a respected expert in the horse industry. Ron and Maureen, through over 30 years in the horse business, have won significant awards in both Canada and the United States. Home bred horses have won National and World titles. Ron and his family loved their critters with a yard full of chickens, dogs, cats and horses. He was an avid fisherman with many related recreational adventures that created chaos with the family. Ron was always available to assist his neighbours and friends in time of need. He was always the family cornerstone with his standard saying, “Don’t worry about it”. This generally led to further chaos. Special appreciation is extended by the family to Dr. Foley and staff at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat. A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Park – Cypress Centre Auditorium, 2055 – 21 Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with Lisa Waites officiating and a luncheon to follow immediately thereafter.
