.A week ago today was a special day as family and friends united at St. John’s Presbyterian Church to say goodbye to a wonderful, wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Janice Risk. The celebration started with one of Jan’s favorite songs, “If I Ruled The World”… Barry, a nephew of Jan’s, spoke kind words and reflected on her life in a way that touched those in attendance… special music from Darrell captured everyone’s attention as his voice resonated in the church as he sang special songs… Rev. Cocks provided spiritual guidance and comfort in scripture and prayer… for the times that Janice carried her family, it was her family who carried her and acted as pallbearers – Jason, Aaron, Chris, Brady, Charlie and Monty… as a final tribute, family symbolized their love by placing a pink rose upon her casket as they said their last goodbyes at Hillside Cemetery – she would have been proud!!
Your touch, your smile –
A dear lady so tender…
Today and tomorrow,
We will always remember.
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.
