.Last Friday, as friends arrived at Cook’s for the Celebration of John Bachmeier’s life, they were personally greeted by his children, Shirley, Pam, Wayne, Connie and Kelly. They made sure that those attending the celebration felt welcome and appreciated, just the way that Dad would have wanted it! For her tribute, Shirley touched on her father’s love of hats, even putting one on as she shared some stories, taking those present on a trip down memory lane. Harry and Jeanette Koch personalized the service through their special musical selection, and everyone present was tapping their feet as they listened to one of John’s favorites… “Poor, Poor Farmer”.
“He lived a wonderful life,
His family was key,
Continue in kind,
Honouring his legacy.”
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured.

.It was a time of reflection and remembrance last Thursday, as the life of a wonderful Mother and Gramma, Irene Friesz was celebrated at Cook’s. Rev. Scheske led the service and offered words of comfort that provided ministry to family and those in attendance… the chapel was filled with the sound of music as Gerry Getz led the congregation in song and performed one of the most touching songs, Amazing Grace… with the sun shining upon us all, pallbearers, Heather, Haley, Danielle, Nicole, Casey and Tim, respectfully carried their Gramma to her place of rest – she would have been proud.
When you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile
And say “Welcome Home”.
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.
