With COVID restrictions loosened, live music is returning to the city with a vengeance.

Two American headliners, with vastly different audiences, will be hitting the stage at the Enmax Centre in early 2022.

And tickets for both shows go on sale Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.

Kicking off the new year will be a performance by American country star Dierks Bentley, whose “Beers on Me” tour hits the Enmax Centre on Jan. 19. Also on stage that night will be opening acts Tenille Arts and Jordan Davis.

Punk rock royalty The Offspring brings its “Let the Bad Times Roll” tour to the Enmax Centre on Feb. 22 with Montreal’s Simple Plan. The Lethbridge date is one of 22 on The Offspring’s Canadian schedule.

Bentley’s Canadian trek starts Jan. 6 in London, Ont. and is produced by Live Nation. Bentley, says a press release, has 20 No.1 hits and there have been a whopping 6.4 billion streams of his songs. In his career, the 15-year member of the Grand Ole Opry has earned 14 Grammy nominations and many others from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and Billboard Music Awards.

The Offspring, meanwhile, achieved worldwide acclaim with their album “Smash,” which sold more than 11 million copies. During their career, The Offspring have sold more than 40 million records.

Their album and tour namesake “Let the Bad Times Roll” is the band’s tenth studio recording and third produced by Bob Rock.

Canada’s Simple Plan have released five studio albums and earned two Juno Awards.

On sale now are tickets for the Feb. 4 performance by the Snowed-In Comedy Tour at the Yates Centre. Showtime will be 8 p.m. This is the 13th year for the tour.

Performing at the laughfest will be Debra DiGiovanni, Pete Zedlacher, Dan Quinn and Paul Myrehaug.
