CP NewsAlert: Police say 3 seriously injured in shooting at West Edmonton Mall

EDMONTON – Police say three people have been seriously injured in a shooting at West Edmonton Mall.

They say the injured have been taken to hospital.

Police say a lockdown that had left many stranded inside the shopping centre is being lifted.

An employee at a clothing store in the mall says staff had been sheltering in a storage room waiting for word that it was safe to leave.
