Edmonton police say a 16-year-old boy shot two constables multiple times after his mother had called to report that she was having trouble with her son.
They say the mother was walking to the apartment with the officers and they were shot before they could get inside.
They say there was no indication the call was high risk or dangerous or that the teen had a gun.
More coming.
