NewsAlert: Liberals hint at second delay in expanding eligibility for assisted dying

Health Minister Mark Holland says the country is not ready to expand eligibility for assisted death to people whose only medical condition is a mental illness.

Holland says the Liberal government agrees with a joint parliamentary committee report released today that says assisted death should only be offered to such patients when it can be “safely and adequately provided.”
