Visitors from around Alberta coming to the Hat for Volkssport walks

Arts and culture groups get Heritage Canada grants

Three local organizations will share almost $94,000 in federal arts and culture grants announced on Thursday morning  by Heritage Canada. The Esplanade Theatre will receive $52,800 related to its presentation of “Momentum” and Medicine Hat JazzFest also received $33,000 for its programming. TransCanada plans to sell power line that operates Cypress County oil-pumping station
