The Man Van is returning to Medicine Hat for a second time this year, helping men throughout the city keep aware of their prostate cancer risk.

The Prostate Cancer Centre’s Man Van, Canada’s first mobile men’s health clinic, will be in town Nov. 19. The goal, as it was when the van visited earlier this fall, is to educate men on the importance of early prostate cancer awareness and their overall health.

In addition to Prostate Specific Antigen blood tests, the Man Van also performs mental wellness checks.

The Man Van will be at Fire Station No. 2 from noon to 2 p.m for men aged 40-70. No appointment is necessary for testing. Each test is expected to take less than 15 minutes, and is available at no cost thanks to the support of private donations and corporate sponsorships.
