Correction: Incorrect company name given for proposed solar field

@MedicineHatNews Incorrect information appeared in an article in the Aug. 20 edition of the Medicine Hat News. The company proposing to build a 150-megawatt “Blue Bridge” solar array near Empress in Cypress County is EDP, a Spanish renewable energy company not, as stated EDF (Electricite de France). EDP-Renewables North America was the company behind the Sharp Hills wind farm near Oyen. EDF Canada now operates the Cypress (Wind) Energy Centre, south of Irvine, and has approval to build the Bull Trail wind farm on adjacent land near Highway 41. 6-5
