Hut 8 names its new chief financial officer

Energy infrastructure operator Hut 8 Corp. welcomes a new chief financial officer, Sean Glennan. Glennan, who comes with a nearly 20-year career in financial services, will be succeeding former CFO Shenif Visram, who is stepping down for personal reasons, said Hut 8 in a press release. “We are thrilled to welcome Sean to the organization as we continue executing on our power-first thesis,” said Asher Genoot, CEO of Hut 8. Glennan expressed excitement to be stepping into the role, especially in regards to this upcoming “phase of growth” that he will be part of in the near future. The position will become official as of Aug. 21. 5-4
