Scrapbooking course part of August programming at Veiner Centre

Seniors interested in gaining tips and inspiration on their scrapbooking journey can register for the ‘Scrapbooking Fanatics’ course that will be offered over three days this month at the Unison at Veiner Centre.

The course is targeted for members who “share a passion for preserving memories,” and will offer guidance for both beginners and season scrapbookers alike.

‘Scrapbooking Fanatics’ will run three sessions from Aug. 23-26. To register for the course you can call 403-529-8307.

This month’s ‘Talk to a Counsellor’ check-in will take place Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Seniors with mental health issues or looking to gain perspectives for ongoing problems are welcome to call 403-529-8307 to register for a session.

This month’s Parkinson’s Associations Support Group, open to anyone impacted by Parkinson’s takes place from 1:30-3 p.m. Aug. 21 and provides attendees a support group to learn about Parkinson’s and develop better coping skills. Call Brienne at 403-317-7710 to register.
