Construction is underway to relocate and upgrade heating units on the roof of Medicine Hat College.
Cranes raised sections of pre-fabricated pipe on Wednesday to the roof above the north loading dock at the F-wing of the main building on campus.
A new HVAC platform there will replace an older heating, ventilation and air conditioning system currently located at C-wing.
The project is estimated to cost $3.5 million, according to the college’s director of facilities.
