Quilters guild’s two-day event at the curling club begins today

More than 300 pieces will be displayed at the Medicine Hat Curling Club from noon until 7 p.m. today, and then again from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $10 with proceeds going toward supplies for the “Comfort Quilts” program that provides about 100 quilts each year to local health-care and young-mother programs. Refreshments will be on hand and raffles are planned. 6-5
