The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is offering an introductory lesson in one of the oldest arts with a beginner’s weaving session.

June 12 will see participants out in Police Point Park from 2-4 p.m. and learning the basics of weaving for only $3 per person, with all materials provided. The only thing that anyone interested is asked to bring will be their own lawn chair for use during the lesson.

All experience levels are welcome, and residents looking to participate are encouraged to call the Nature Centre at 403-529-6225 to register. Further information on this and other programs is available on the MHIP website, or by contacting the Nature Centre.
