Gas City Campground opening Friday

Campers rejoice, the Gas City Campground is opening earlier than anticipated.

The City of Medicine Hat announced Monday the local campground will be open for camping starting Friday.

As of today at 10 a.m., interested campers can register for sites for the period from May 17-30. Reservations can be made online, by phone or via email.

The early opening has been made possible through the efforts of city crews and contractors who accelerated the completion of necessary construction.
