The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program invites visitors to gain a deeper understanding of local wildlife and their behaviours through its plaster tracks program on May 8.

This program aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely cast plaster tracks and learn more about the wildlife in their surroundings, all while promoting a way to admire and connect with nature from a safe and respectful distance from wild animals.

The program will run from 10 a.m. to noon, as participants search the park for tracks, and each group selects one to cast. The interpretive program encourages comfortable outdoor wear, both appropriate for the weather and that can get a little dirty, as well as appropriate footwear.

Participation is free, but registration is required by calling the nature line at 403-529-6225. The event may be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather.
