Updated Alberta Sportfishing guide delayed

An announcement on the My Wild Alberta website notifies the general public that this year’s Sportfishing Regulations will be published later than usual.

These regulations are reviewed annually, and Forestry and Parks requires more time to complete the work associated with finalizing the regulations for the upcoming year, the department said.

While no date was given for the release of the 2024-2025 regulations, it has been assured they will be available online on social media and on the My Wild Alberta site when the time comes.

Until such a time, the current 2023-2024 Alberta Guide to Sportfishing Regulations are still in effect, and are still available digitally.
