Clarification: Incorrect time led to confusion on council meeting length

@MedicineHatNews An error and unclear language on a key point may have led readers to a misconception about the length of Monday night’s council meeting. At it, an item from Mayor Linnsie Clark asking for financial disclosure and other financial analysis was tabled at the set end time of 11 p.m. and will be on the April 22 agenda. The News report “Mayor wants admin spending, expense report” in the April 10 edition incorrectly stated the meeting ending at the 3:30 mark. In actuality, the issue arose at 10:50 p.m. – four hours and 20 minutes after the open portion of the meeting began at 6:30 p.m., following a closed session that started at 4 p.m. 6-5
