RCMP Briefs: Bank job in Coaldale leads to arrest

RCMP have arrested a man in Coaldale who they say passed a bank teller a note demanding cash and stating that an accomplice had a gun.

Mounties attended the bank at 11:15 a.m. on Monday afternoon and later arrested Jason Weiler, 28, of Coaldale, charging him with armed robbery. He is in custody set to appear in Lethbridge court on Thursday.

Teens sought

Raymond RCMP are looking for a male and female teenagers from the Village of Stirling who have been missing since Monday morning.

Jeffrey Gardner, 13, and Sierra Nataucappo, 14, are the subject of a well-being check and members of the public are being asked for assistance.

Gardner is 5-foot-7 with a slim build, fair complexion blonde hair and blue eyes.

Nataucappo is 5-foot-5 with medium complexion, brown eyes and black hair.
