City offering park-and-ride service for Tigers playoff games

As WHL playoffs kick-off this week, Medicine Hat Transit is offering fans an express option to see the Tigers in person.

The transit service has announced the startup of the Co-op Place Express, allowing fans an opportunity to park their vehicles at two pickup points and get roundtrip travel to and from the playoff action.

For $5 roundtrip, including free parking at their pickup points, fans can get on the express bus at either the Medicine Hat Mall or the downtown transit terminal.

Buses will depart from the pickup locations at approximately 6 p.m., heading directly. After the game, riders will head back to the drop-off point and get back on the same express route that brought them to the rink to end the night.

Riders can pay with either a cash fare or using MHTgo.
