Swift Current RCMP requesting public assistance in locating wanted man

The Swift Current municipal RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating wanted man, Lane Purves. Swift Current RCMP say the 6-foot tall 28-year-old is described as having brown hair and blue eyes with tattoos on both arms, neck and legs. They say he is known to frequent Swift Current, Maple Creek, Moose Jaw and Assiniboia. There are multiple warrants out for his arrest on charges of: -Theft of motor vehicle, -Break and enter, -Mischief causing damage, -Assualt of a police officer, -Resisting arrest, -Theft under $5,000, -Possession of property obtained by crime, -Failure to comply with a release order, -Failure to attend court and -Failure to attend for the purposes of identification of criminal act. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or having seen him are asked to contact Swift Current municipal RCMP at 306-778-4870 or their nearest RCMP detachment. 15-14
