newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Prairie Rose Public School students will be able to earn credits for participation in future musical productions, thanks to the approval of a locally developed course. Eagle Butte High School is planning to do another musical next year, said Angela Baron, Director of Communications at Prairie Rose. “By having the locally approved courses available, students who participate in the play will be able to earn high school credits,” said Baron. “This is similar to what they do at Crescent Heights High School and other high schools who put on a musical show.” The programming was originally submitted by The Calgary Roman Catholic Separate School Division, and will be used as a framework to provide credits, as opposed to providing a new program. 6
