Olivia stands as most popular girls baby name in Sask.

@MedicineHatNews Medicine Hat News Oliver and Olivia were the most popular names for baby boys and girls born in Saskatchewan last year, the province’s health statistics branch announced on Monday. It marks the ninth consecutive year Olivia has been on top of the list, while Oliver rose nine places in the latest figures. The province reports that there were a total of 12,832 babies born in the province in 2023, including 63 Olivers and 50 Olivias. The remainder of the top-ten names for boys were (in descending order) Noah, Liam, Leo, Jack, Theodore, Levi, Hudson, Lincoln and Ethan. Emma, Sophia, Charlotte, Ivy, Ava, Ella, Isla, Aurora, and Sophie. New to the top-20 boys list this year was Muhammad at No. 19, while Hazel sat No. 20 on the girls list. 9-8
