Alberta finance minister coming to Hat next week to discuss budget

@MedicineHatNews Finance Minister Nate Horner, who will present the next provincial budget on Thursday, will be in Medicine Hat next week to discuss it with local business leaders. The local Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon March 6 featuring an address from Horner on the subject of provincial finances. The event at Chinook Village begins at 11:30 a.m. with a buffet lunch and 45 minutes of remarks, followed by a question-and-answer session with Horner. Registration is now available through the chamber of commerce office with a deadline of Thursday. Horner, the MLA for Drumheller-Stettler, became finance minister last June after serving as the minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development, which was later reformed as the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation. 7-6
